Fairway dues and quay charges
Charges for use of sea areas and quays. Waste disposal is included.
Fairway dues
Fairway dues are charged per call within the dues area. In the event of repeated calls within the same 24-hour period, the dues are charged only once per 24-hour period.
For vessels that call at the port frequently, the Port Board may decide that dues shall only be paid for a specified number of calls in a calendar month. A monthly charge may also be set.
Vessels that mainly remain in the port without leaving the dues area shall pay for their use of the fairway and port. The charge may be calculated on a monthly or annual basis, and a distinction should be made between vessels in regular operation and laid-up vessels.
Quay charge
The quay charge is the vessel’s payment for use of quays made available by Hammerfest Havn KF or quays in which Hammerfest Havn KF is a co-owner.
The pricing principle is based on gross tonnage, in accordance with established practice. The quay charge does not cover any use of the quay area.
